This product does well in the areas it should do well in: The shave is comfortable as well as close. I was surprised after I rinsed. My face felt smooth and lubricated. I wasn't sure I needed my balm. What went in to keep the shave smooth was still working.

This is a great product but since they changed the packaging it has been out of stock. I am ready to try a new brand after years of using this product in the clear bottle.

I will continue to use this product until the price goes up again . I use this product on my face , neck and scalp . I shave everyday and one bottle will last 30 days . It's a great product however they need to chill out on the prices .

Definite improvement over dry

Used with a Braun Series 9. LAB Electric Shave Solution gives me a much closer shave than using the 9 dry (which was already good for an electric). LAB gets me closer to "blade smooth than I'd ever achieved with an electric razor. Smooth enough that I'm not feeling like I need to shave again 3 hours later. It also leaves my skin very soft. A couple reviews I'd read said it left their skin "oily" feeling and they had to scrub it off. It does feel that way for a few minutes but then it's just gone and you're left with soft, smooth, clean feeling skin. Great product.

At first I wasnt sure about the purchase because of the strong alcohol smell, but as I get used to using it I have no problem with it. Its oily free and gives you sleek shave. I am very satisfied.

I like the slick feeling feeling as the shaver passes over my face without an oil or grease feel to it. I don't like that it is costing me more than double what i first paid for it.

This is way better than the most recommended electric shave liquid sold in stores everywhere. Lab Series is more expensive, but worth it.

I was sent this to test and although I'm not a huge electric shave fan, I dug out my shaver and gave this a go. You'll notice the cooling effect the moment it goes on, you'll also notice how slick it makes your skin feel; you just know that you're going to have a smooth shave before you even switch the shaver on. But it's not just the shave that's smooth; you'll notice how smooth and well conditioned your face feels afterwards too. A top product that I'll definitely be buying in future.

There are a lot of people who use electric shavers but it is difficult to find pre electric. This was bought as a present at first I have found that it is very effective though quite expensive. It feels good on the skin, does not have too much smell and provides for an excellent shave. I hope that the product continues on the market and does not disappear like many other brands. I would recommend this item.

I have used this product for my pre-electric shave routine for the past 10 years. I have never had a concern, except that my local store may not have any when it comes time to re-stock. Now that I've switched to on-line orders, even that worry is gone. I highly recommend it for anyone using an electric razor.

The electric shave solution is the best electric pre-shave I have tried. It does not smell awful, does not sting, and does a good job. By far the best pre-shave I have used in over ten years of using an electric razor.

I assume this product is replacing the Aramis pre-shave lotion which I always used and liked. So far it seems ok, but I wonder what happened to the free sample that was promised to come with the order. None came.
